Fraser Coast artists, arts organisations, festival organisers, community development professionals and groups seeking funding for their creative practice, organisation or project are invited to take part in this free workshop hosted at Gatakers Artspace.
No prior grant writing experience is necessary.
Topics covered during the session include:
- Overview of government, corporate and philanthropic funding programs relevant to the arts sector
- Overview of grant terminology and where to find relevant grants
- Project planning and logistics such as considering insurance, risk management and project timelines
- Budgets including artist fees and industry rates, travel allowances and contingencies
- Relationships, partnerships and support materials
- Useful templates and sourcing data and research relevant to your project
