Join artist Kate Websdale to learn the step‑by‑step process of creating a reduction lino print and discover how this technique can be incorporated into mixed‑media artwork.
What to expect:
- Create a 2-3 colour reduction print
- Understand some of the variables related to paper and inks
- Discuss how lino printed material has been incorporated into artwork
Akua inks will be used to facilitate quick drying
Date: Saturday, 28 March 2026
Time: 10am to 2pm (doors open 9.30am)
Cost: $85.00 per person; Limited to 6 people.
Level: intermediate with some experience required in lino cut technique
Paper, inks, lino and lino cutting tools supplied.
What to bring:
- Sketchbook
- Small simple drawings with 2-3 colours incorporated.
- Lino cutting tools (if you have your own)
- Lunch
Workshop Cancellation Policy
- Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.
- If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:
- The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
- If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered.
- If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
