Two Day Reduction Lino Print Workshop - Gatakers Artspace

Join Kaz Stanton for a hands-on introduction to reduction lino printing and create a striking multi-layer colour print over two creative days.

Over two inspiring days, learn how to transform your own design into a vibrant multi-layer print, exploring the carving, layering and colour techniques that make this printmaking process so unique. 

Event details

• When: Friday 23 October & Friday 30 October, 2026, 10am – 4pm (Must attend both days)
• Where: Gatakers Artspace Print Studio, 311 Kent Street Maryborough 
• Cost: $110 per person | Places limited. 
• Suitable for: Adults only | Suitable for intermediate and experienced printmakers.

What to expect:

• Day 1, will see participants
  designing and transferring an image to a single lino block as they begin the early
  layers of the reduction process.

• Day 2, participants
  will continue carving and printing the darker layers, building towards a complex
  multi-layer colour print.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.  If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:

• The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
• If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered;
• If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
