Join Artist Educators from National Gallery of Australia for a teacher engagement program focused on works of art from the national collection. We invite Early Learning, Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary educators, and other youth and arts professionals to join us for an opportunity to connect to works of art through active engagement strategies.
Participants will be encouraged to share and respond to works of art through an inquiry led approach, engage in creative learning strategies and reflection activities. Participants will be supported to build knowledge and understanding in multiple ways, such as through our senses, stories and imagination. National Gallery Artist Educators will demonstrate ways you can bring works of art into your classroom or work environment, offering your students opportunities to make personal connections to themes within the works and draw from their own life experiences and appreciate the experiences of others.
A verifiable digital certificate will be delivered with 6 Continuing Professional Development Hours to each attendee.
Registration cost includes catered luch.
