Learn how to make a felted little mouse with Brisbane fibre artist Di Conroy.
This workshop is for beginners and you will be given step to step instructions and guidance in how to make this cute little rabbit.
During the workshop Di will give advice on how to create more realistic and lifelike creatures.
What you will learn
- Knowledge of the right wools to use for different projects.
- Instruction on the right gauge of needle to use and when.
- Basic body shaping, proportions and how to get a realistic shape.
- How to blend wools.
- Wire armature will be supplied with a video on how to do it.
When: Friday, 11 April 2025 - 9.30am to 1pm
Where: The Story Bank, 331 Kent Street, Maryborough
Cost:
- $75 - Adults
- $55 - 14-17years
All tools and materials will be supplied. Participant will take home skill and 1 mouse.
Tools:
Wool mats, high quality needles, wooden needle holders, pliers and scissors
Materials: Australian core wool, and NZ corriedale wools.

Workshop Cancellation Policy
- Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.
- If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:
- The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
- If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered.
- If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
