Kids Clay Workshop: Miniature Houses

Join us for a fun, creative clay session where kids will hand-build a miniature house and personalise it with clay details and colour.

What you’ll do: Hand-build a miniature house and bring it to life with clay add-ons and colourful underglazes. Create anything from a cosy cottage to a pixie hideaway or a spooky haunted house—your imagination is the limit.

When: Sunday 17th May 2026, 10:00am–12:30pm

Where: Gatakers Artspace (Courtyard)

After the workshop: Your pieces will stay at Gatakers to be kiln-fired, glazed, and re-fired. We’ll notify you when they’re ready for pick-up.

Suitable for: Ages 6–14 (children under 12 must be supervised by a parent/guardian).

What to wear: Clothes that can get a little messy, and closed in shoes.

What to bring: Water bottle and sun protection for the courtyard.

Weather: This is an outdoor courtyard session—the workshop will be moved indoors if the weather isn’t favourable.

Bookings: $25 per child (includes all materials and firing/glazing)
