School Holiday Clay Workshop for Kids

Little hands, big imaginations! Join us these school holidays for a fun and creative clay workshop where kids can squish, shape and decorate their very own clay masterpiece.

Participants will hand-build their creations, add colour with bright underglazes, then leave their artwork with us to be kiln-fired, glazed and fired again. We’ll let families know when each special piece is ready to take home and treasure.

When: Thursday 2 July 2026

Time: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Where: Gatakers Artspace Courtyard

Cost: $25 per child

Ages: 5–16 years

All materials provided.

Clay can be wonderfully messy, so please wear clothes ready for creativity and closed-in shoes, and please bring a water bottle.

Children aged 12 years and under will need an adult to stay and join in the creative cheerleading.

Spots are limited – book early to save your child’s place.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at
your own expense.  If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:
  • The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
  • If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered;
  • If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
