Join us for an evening with celebrated writer and critic James Bradley discussing his new book Deep Water: The world in the ocean. 

Deep Water is a hymn to the beauty, mystery and wonder of the ocean. Weaving together science, history and environmentalism, it explores humanity's complex relationship with the sea and the efforts of scientists to understand its secrets.

Shortlisted for the QLD Premier’s Literary Award, Deep Water showcases Bradley’s skills as a novelist and essayist. Conveying the awe-inspiring depths of the ocean, this wise and urgent book reminds us of what we have and what we stand to lose.
